The Liquid Surprises wine club is a 3 pack of wines delivered to you in March, June, September and December.

The wine club is about having exclusive access to all of our wines, either receiving them in your wine club pack or having first dibs on purchasing them with your wine club discount. It’s only three wines per delivery, twelve per year.

In the pack you’ll get new releases, limited releases, obscure and traditional varieties, unique blends, wine club only specials, classic styles and ones we love with an option to add extra wines to your pack each quarter.

Why have we capped the wine club? Why not just continue taking members?

Each June, we choose 12 wines from the range that we think our members will love and decide when they will be released and make sure our Wine Club has first tastes and first dibs on some. So we can continue making the small batches, plan ahead and keep it exciting and interesting for our members, we've had to control the amount of members we have at certain times.

The waitlist is not long, but necessary to ensure we can supply the wines we have chosen for our current members.


Wine club FAQ’s

  • $99 per quarter to most places in Australia.

    Locals $89 and you’ll need to pop by the cellar door and pick it up. We can deliver if you need us to.

    Regional (Far North WA, QLD, Tassie, NT) $109 - Auspost charges are significantly higher for these places

    • 20% discount on wines online and at the cellar door.

    • Free tastings always

    • Star treatment at the cellar door and events

    • First dibs on all wines inc best sellers, small batches, new releases, back vintages and unreleased

    • Pre sale access to events run by LSM

  • Each February, May, August and November - we’ll send you an email to let you know of the upcoming issue. From that email titled ‘Top-Up your March pack’ you can order any additional wines you would like to be added to your upcoming package.

    There is no pressure to order any additional wines.

    These will be charged SEPARATELY to your wine club package but sent together.

  • Nope. Cancel anytime. Unless you are referred by a current member and granted a $28 referral credit, in which case you are locked in for 12 months.

  • The waitlist is not long, you may be in straight away or in time for the next one.

    Email is our way to contact you so check your junk emails if you haven’t recieved anything within a few months.

  • Yes of course. If you are travelling, or need a break, you can pause your membership. Just reach out to wineclub@lsmerchants.com.au

  • To cancel, just shoot us an email to wineclub@lsmerchants.com.au. If you do not receive a confirmation email stating we have cancelled your membership, please reach out again as we do get a lot of emails and they can be missed. It is rare but it happens.

    • If your payment fails it will be tried again in a few days, if it fails again, we will contact you. You will receive an email notifying you of the failed payment so please do contact us if this is the case and you need to update your details.

    Incorrect details -

    The program may auto-delete you and cancel your subscription if your account details are incorrectly entered. Please get in touch if you receive an email saying this. Don’t fret, you’re still in the club! We just need to re-add your info or swap you to credit if your bank refuses the transaction multiple times.

  • While the Go Cardless program works very well in taking your money, the automatic emails they send often make no sense.

    You’ll get the subscription cancelled email if we have changed your bank account, your payments keep failing, or your details are incorrect. We are not that ruthless, but we do need to update your account and will be in touch.

  • Yes of course. We prefer direct debit as we get far less failed payments than credit, making the club a lot easier to manage, however you may use a credit card instead. We prefer to call you for the details, or send a link from Sqaure, so don’t send them in an email.

  • We ship with Australia Post and you will receive an email or text with the tracking information on approximately the 11th day of the issue month. To Perth takes 2-5 days and interstate can take up to 14 days.

    We pack the boxes around the 10th.

  • The tracking email from Australia Post will have a button you can push to redirect your package if you need to.

  • DAMAGED: If your package is being returned to sender because it was damaged in transit, never fear. We will ship another out to you. Auspost will let us know, but you can also let us know if you receive an email.

    NOT PICKED UP: If your package is being returned to us because it wasn’t picked up in time, we can return it to you for a $15 fee, or keep it for a while and post it to you with the next issue.

    A lot of Post Offices will hold your pack for 2 weeks before they return it. We also get charged for the returning of the pack, hence why we charge a fee to resend it.

  • If this is the case, it’s probably best if we delay shipping until you are back.

  • The website logins are not for members, (we don’t have one of those fancy websites) but for anyone who has bought from us and created an account to save their details.

    You don’t need to login to gain your 20% off, but you do need to enter your discount code into the ‘GIFT OR DISCOUNT’ section when you checkout.

  • We updated everyone’s code in Sept 2025. if you are trying to sue a code from before this time, it wont work.

    (They stopped working when the program updated itself so we had to make new ones)

    You were sent a green member card, plus a printed letter with your new code in Sept 2025. Please reach out if you didn’t recieve it or you dont know your code.

  • A member can refer a friend and they will both receive a $28 credit to use online, at the cellar door or in a ‘extras’ order. Referrals are locked in for 12 months, in which case they can then cancel but the membership will continue until they request to cancel

  • Good for you!

    We can accomodate red/whites only drinkers. The printed information you receive in the box will not match what wines you have and you may get double-ups, depending on what wines we have available at the time.

    We’ll also likely ask whether you like Rose, Orange wines, Pet Nat/ Sparkling or stickies to get a better idea of what to send you.
