A small batch Cabernet Franc, with only 3 barrels made. Machine harvested directly to 1T open fermenters. Hand plunged and left on skins for an extended maceration of 30 days before being pressed to a mix of preloved French barriques for maturation.

The free draining soils on the Treeton vineyard site coupled with great fruit exposure has led to a dense, concentrated Cabernet Franc that shows elegance and lifted aromatics. Blue fruits, violet and graphite/greylead shavings on the nose with a touch of spice and raspberry leaf.

The palate is supple and dense with ripe blue fruits, firm but well-rounded tannins and a crunchy red currant acidity. Delicious now, you’ll also be well rewarded in 5-8 years.
